No budget. Still spending. Send a message. Vote them out.
According to the Heritage.org “Morning Bell” on December 14, 2011, it’s been nearly 1,000 days since the Senate passed a budget. So what are they doing? It appears nothing in regard to the budget and our outrageous national debt. The Democrat controlled Senate is still resisting fulfilling their basic duty.
A balanced budget would be a step in the right direction, but the Democrat controlled Senate rejected both Democrat and Republican Balance Budget Amendments on December 14, 2011.
Both Balanced Budget Amendments fell short of tackling entitlement reform and would not have been the final answer to America’s crisis, but either one would be a start and hold our government responsible by law.
